Calling all teachers!
Come on down to the Sallisaw Walmart for Teacher Appreciation Day on Saturday, July 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Organizer Megan Brown said the event is to honor the under-appreciated educators in our area.
There will be gift bags for teachers, free cake for everyone and a chance for students to take a photo with their favorite teacher.
Walmart and Advantage Systems Marketing are sponsoring the event, which will be on the grocery side of the store.
Come on out and show your support for the educators of Sequoyah County and the surrounding areas.
