The 12th annual Garrison Creek Roundup Riders Rodeo is set for July 19 and 20 in Muldrow.
Woody Woodruff, a professional rodeo announcer, said the event is “a rodeo, it’s a social event, it’s family” because the event brings the community together every year.
Too hot? Don’t worry! Event organizers are setting up tents to give spectators a break from the July heat.
The rodeo will feature bull riding and barrel racing, among other events and will also include mutton bustin’ and a money drop for the kids. Hamburgers, brisket sandwiches and other fare will be available.
The rodeo schedule kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 19, with mutton bustin’. The rest of the events will begin at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, July 20, there will be a rodeo dance featuring Whiskey Revolver beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Events will begin at 7:30 p.m. both nights. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 and kids 5 and under get in free.
