Muldrow Man Hospitalized after Motorcycle Accident


A single vehicle motorcycle accident early Tuesday morning resulted in the hospitalization of a Muldrow man.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) report, Grover Edwards, 40, was riding a 2008 Suzuki 650 motorcycle on County Road 1060 approximately 1/10 mile east of County Road 4697 and 6 miles east of Salllisaw when the accident occurred. 

The report states that Edwards was westbound when he swerved to miss a dog and laid the motorcycle down in the roadway.

Edwards was transported by Pafford EMS to Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal injuries.

The OHP was assisted at the scene by the Maple Fire Department and Pafford EMS.
