The Sequoyah County Court Clerk's office will reopen today after being temporarily closed due to a positive case of COVID-19 among the office staff.
On Thursday Court Clerk Vicki Beaty notified the public, along with the appropriate health officials. that an employee had tested positive for the coronavirus. Beaty and county commissioners announced that the office would remain closed until all office staff had been tested and cleared.
Early Tuesday morning Beaty stated that negative COVID-19 test results had been returned for herself and each member of her office staff.
The court clerk's office will resume normal hours.
