Power Outage

Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative customers in Leflore and Haskell Counties, who are served by the Keota Substation, will be without power for three to six hours on Wednesday, a spokesman said. KAMO of Vinita had an equipment failure at the Keota substation and informed Cookson Hills Electric that it will take three to six hours to replace the equipment. The cooperative spokesperson said she did not know how many customers would be affected by the power outage. By Sally Maxwell, Senior News Director
