No one was reported injured in a two-vehicle crash at about 11:35 a.m. Monday on West Cherokee Street in Sallisaw.
First responders reported Albert Whitmire of Sallisaw was attempting to pull into the driveway at his home when his pickup truck and stock trailer were hit by a west-bound white Chevrolet Cobalt. The vehicle was occupied by two persons, who were shook up but not injured, it was reported. The names of the two persons were not immediately available.
Responders reported the pickup truck sustained damage to a rear fender, and the Cobalt was damaged on the driver’s side.
The crash blocked the westbound lanes on Cherokee Street for over half an hour until the car could be removed.
