Members of the Kindness Krew were recently guests at the monthly Pastor’s Fellowship Breakfast.
Jim Holyfield, pastor of First United Methodist Church, presented the Kindness Krew’s president, Judy Martens, with a check for the group’s help with organizing the Back-to-School supply giveaway.
Other members of the Kindness Krew at the breakfast included Abbie Bailey, Ro Freeman and Rhoda Wilson.
The Kindness Krew is a nonprofit organization that was formed to meet needs at the local hospital. The group has already redecorated the mammography changing room and they will be redoing the hospice patient room soon.
The group also plans to assist with the Pastor’s Fellowship Christmas gift giveaway and with various other projects as needed.
Donations are welcome and may be mailed to Ro Freeman, 1911 Aspen, in Sallisaw.
