Items Stolen from High School Storage Shed

Sallisaw police are investigating a break-in and theft at Sallisaw High School discovered Tuesday morning.

Sallisaw Police Chief Terry Franklin said the break-in was reported at about 10:26 a.m. Tuesday.

“They are not sure when the break-in occurred,” Franklin said. “It could have been any time between Sunday and Monday night.”

Reported stolen were a Gator and a small trailer, a pressure washer and a small air compressor. The items were taken from a storage shed at the high school.

Franklin said investigators found the pressure washer and air compressor in a field just north of the school administration building which is east of the high school.

Franklin said the theft is still under investigation.

“If anyone saw anything or knows something about the theft, please call the police department and ask to speak to an investigator,” he said.

The phone number is 918-775-4141.
