Dwight Mission Offers Free Camp to First 30 to Call

Dwight Mission Camp and Conference Center is offering a free week at camp for the first 30 who sign up. Those who don’t make the first-30 cut will be asked to pay only $200 for the week, which is a bargain.

Leigh Woodruff Harvey, Dwight Mission Guest Group Director, said the camp will be held July 17 through 21, and is for youngsters in grades 3 through 8. Campers will be dropped off at 2 p.m. on that Monday, and picked up by 10 a.m. on the following Friday.

“It includes meals and lodging,” Harvey said.

Activities include swimming, archery, canoeing and games.

“We play silly games with water and ice cream,” Harvey said. “It’s great for kids who are bored and for parents who are out of ideas for the summer.”

To sign up for the camp call Dwight Mission at 918-775-2018. Harvey said Dwight Mission will send information packets out to the campers’ parents.
