Be sure and tune in to MixTV Channel 19 and the Mix 105.1 Facebook page at 6:30 tonight for a live forum featuring the candidates for the Sallisaw Board of City Commissioners.
Candidates for the Feb. 9 election are Philip Gay (incumbent) and Josh Bailey in Ward 2 and Shannon Vann (incumbent) and Kristin Coleman-Peerson in Ward 4.
The forum, sponsored by KXMX and the Sequoyah County Times and moderated by Marley Abell, will be held at the People Inc. Conference Center in Sallisaw, but because of COVID-19 restrictions, the public will not be allowed to attend.
The forum will begin with opening statements from each candidate, followed by a question-and-answer session.
Each candidate will be allowed to have two guests in the audience.
