The suspect in the recent robbery at Beth’s Store in Muldrow turned himself in to the town’s police force Thursday, Muldrow Police Chief George Lawson said Friday.
Lawson praised the efforts of the case’s lead investigator, Officer Mark Harkins, and said social media was a big help during the case. “People were commenting on it and sharing it” and it led to several good leads, he said.
Earlier this week, Tubbs made contact with Harkins, telling him he was “tired’ and wanting to meet with him. Harkins met Tubbs in Moffett and took him into custody without incident, Lawson said.
