Cherokee Nation Vaccine Distribution Plan

The Cherokee Nation is now scheduling COVID-19 vaccinations for Cherokee elders ages 65 and older (Phase 1b according to their COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan. See graphic)

Cherokee Nation Health Services began calling patients in this priority phase on Monday to notify elders to schedule their vaccine appointment. Those who do not receive a robo call in the next few days or who need to establish a new chart with Cherokee Nation Health Services can call 1-833-528-0063 (and select option 1)

With limited supplies of the vaccine, Cherokee Nation is  administering vaccinations according to the phased distribution plan and making sure their most vulnerable populations, including health workers, speakers and elders, receive the first doses of the vaccine. As more vaccinations are received, they will continue vaccinating more groups in the months ahead according to the phases in the distribution plan.

Vaccinations are administered by appointment only for established patients with a medical chart in the Cherokee Nation Health Service system for elders ages 65 and up at this time. Appointments are being scheduled from 8:30am -4:30pm Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Walk-ins are not being taken at this time.
