Due to current issues regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, Carl Albert State College has made the decision to close its campuses to the general public. With this in mind, they have made changes to the enrollment process that will apply until further notice.
Enrollment for the Summer and Fall Semesters at Carl Albert State College opened. The Office of Enrollment Management would like to announce the dates of enrollment as well as the process to enroll in courses for the upcoming terms.
Current CASC Sophomores First Day to Enroll: March 30th
Current CASC Freshmen First Day to Enroll: March 31st
Concurrent Student Enrollment First Day to Enroll: April 1st
Open Enrollment
(All current CASC/ Newly Admitted/Transfer Students) First Day to Enroll: April 6th
The Summer term begins on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 and the last day to add a class is Thursday, May 28, 2020. The Fall Semester begins on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 and the last day to add a class is Tuesday, August 25, 2020.
Poteau Campus Procedures:
Current Students: Current students may choose to self-enroll through Vikeconnect or enroll with their academic advisor. Instructions for self-enrollment have been sent via student email. For a list of academic advisors by academic major please visit: https://www.carlalbert.edu/enrollment/.
Transfer Students: Transfer students must submit credentials with their application for admission and have those credentials evaluated by Office of Admissions personnel. To speak with the Office of Admissions staff about the admissions process, please call them at 918-647-1308.
After a student has been fully admitted, he/she may contact an academic advisor or the Office of Enrollment Management to enroll in courses. For a list of academic advisors by academic major, please visit: https://www.carlalbert.edu/enrollment/.
First-Time Freshmen:
First-Time Freshmen must submit credentials with their application for admission and have those credentials evaluated by Office of Admissions personnel. To speak with the Office of Admissions staff about the admissions process, please call them at 918-647-1308.
After a student has been fully admitted, he/she may sign up for an enrollment session. Enrollment sessions are designed to equip first-time freshmen with all of the tools they need to successfully get started at CASC. To access the Enrollment Session Registration Form please visit: https://www.carlalbert.edu/enrollment/. One of the CASC Enrollment and Advisement Specialists will create the student’s schedule based upon their answers to the questions on the Enrollment Session Registration Form. It is important that the student complete this form accurately! Once the student’s form has been received, one of the Enrollment and Advisement Specialists will be in contact with the student via email and/or phone call to discuss their schedule.
