Bunch Man Killed in Accident


A 46-year-old Bunch man was killed in a single vehicle accident at approximately 5:49 p.m. Saturday  evening in Adair County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) report, Billy Dale Glenn was driving a 2002 Ford F150 on US Highway 59, 5 miles south of Stilwell, when a tire blew out causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The truck departed the roadway to the right striking a ditch and causing the vehicle to roll an unknown number of times.

Glenn was transported to the Stilwell Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The OHP was assisted at the scene by the Greasy Fire Dept., Stilwell Fire Dept., and the Adair County Sheriff's Dept.

The cause of the accident was listed as a defective tire. Seatbelts were not in use, according to the OHP report.
