Sequoyah County residents affected by the rural water shortage can now receive bottled water.
Steve Rutherford, Sequoyah County Emergency Manager, stated Thursday morning that bottled water would now be provided at the Blunt Baptist Church distribution site while supplies last.
"Now that we are under a boil order we are going to be providing bottled water," Rutherford said.
Residents will have their choice of one case of bottle water or 5 gallons of potable water but must provide their own containers.
Blunt Baptist Church is located approximately 5 miles north of Sallisaw on Old Highway 17.
