Cookson Hills Electric Cooperative (CHEC) is temporarily suspending residential disconnects in an effort to ease the potential financial burden on members directly affected by the COVID-19 virus. However, they also want to remind their customers that disconnects could resume with little notice.
Customers behind on their account and unable to pay their electric bill as a result of COVID-19, are urged to call (800) 328-2368 and speak to a representative.
Representatives will discuss next steps in moving forward by working on an individual plan to ensure uninterrupted electrical service.
