The Sequoyah County Board of Commissioners approved a Central High Road (NS 4670) project agreement at their weekly meeting.
The agreement is for work on Central High Road over the Garvin branch in the county’s third district.
Commissioners also awarded a bid to purchase a pumper tanker truck for the Gore Fire Department.
In other business, the panel approved the transfer of appropriations from the Sequoyah County Election Board’s maintenance and operations and salary accounts to pay part-time workers during the upcoming election.
The commissioners also reappointed Carol Mitchell to the Sequoyah County Health Department board and approved a county action report adding seven-tenths of a mile to the county road system in the second district.
