Carl Albert Esports Team Makes History

Carl Albert State College (CASC) made history this week with their Esports team. The Esports team played brought home a victory after playing in its first ever NJCAA Esports Overwatch match.  They played twice against USUE (Utah State University Eastern), and CASC swept both matches. CASC’s pre-season rank was #8. CASC also competes in Rocket League and Smash Bros Ultimate for the NJCAA.

Overwatch plays on Tuesdays at 6 p.m., Rocket League plays on Wednesdays at 6 p.m., and Smash Brothers play on Thursdays at 6 p.m.. Spectators are welcome to watch all games in the esports room. Team members will be in the Hamilton Auditorium lobby to direct everyone to the eArena.

Carl Albert’s Esports Coordinator is Randy Armstrong. The team is coached by Hunter Sisemore and Spencer Richison. The roster is as followed:
