The Boys and Girls Club of Sequoyah County has officially launched a new website, bgcseq.org, where folks can find information about the clubs, membership applications, as well as the club handbook and much more.
Lindsie Dyer, president of the Boys and Girls Club board of directors for Sequoyah County, said the agency is “really excited to finally have this website up and running.”
“It’s been one of our goals for several years,” Dyer said in an interview Friday. “We want to make it easier for people” to reach the agency or to find out information about the services the club offer, which include educational programs for children after school and during the summer. “We’re not just a baby sitter,” she said.
“We want the website to create more awareness of our programs for members of communities in Sequoyah County,” she added.
Donations to the club may also be made on the website.
