The employment of Sallisaw’s City Manager Clayton Lucas, and his possible dismissal, is on the city’s agenda for Monday.
Sallisaw Mayor Jim Hudgens said he asked that Lucas’ employment be on the agenda, but he would not discuss it because it is a personnel matter.
“I am not going to discuss it,” Hudgens said when asked if there have been complaints about Lucas’ performance as city manager.
By law, officials do not have to disclose personnel matters publically in order to protect those involved.
Lucas said he had no comment either.
The city commissioners will go into executive session to discuss Lucas.
