Fine Arts Night Planned at CASC

Carl Albert State College is excited to announce the first ever Fine Arts Night! The event will be held Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m., streamed live over the VikingTV Facebook page, on MixTV Channel 19 in Sallisaw, and on YouTube on the page “Carl Albert State College Student Affairs.”

Fine Arts Night is the first event to be held through the VikingTV streaming platform. VikingTV will serve as the primary television and streaming station for Carl Albert activities. The platform will allow Carl Albert to host and stream community events, campus events, and provide a service to promote and distribute the activities of Carl Albert students. VikingTV will host events such as baseball games, softball games, Esports matches, campus events, lectures and speakers, and fine arts activities.

Fine Arts Night will feature musical groups from Spiro High School, Poteau High School, Muldrow High School, and Carl Albert State College. The CASC Community Choir and New Horizons Show Choir will perform. The goal of the event is to give local art students an opportunity to showcase, through the COVID-19 pandemic, the pieces they’ve worked so hard on this fall. Each participant will have their temperature checked prior to participating in the event.

To watch the Fine Arts Night festivities, simply tune into the VikingTV Facebook page beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 and enjoy a Fine Arts evening to remember.
