Central Public Schools Transitioning to Distance Learning Due to COVID-19 Issues

Central Public Schools announced today that due to COVID-19 related issues they will transition to "school wide distancing learning" beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 10.

In person classes are currently scheduled to resume on Nov. 30.

During Distance Learning students and parents will be able to contact teachers at school via email and phone during normal school hours.

WiFi access will be available for students in the Central Elementary and High School parking lots from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. No password is needed for students to access the WiFi.

Free meal pick up will be available for students to pick up each school day from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

"Our greatest priority is the safety of our students, staff and community members," school officials stated regarding the closure."
