The 9th annual, and very popular, Taste of Sallisaw Fall Fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club of Sequoyah County will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Sallisaw Middle School cafeteria.
This is the only public fundraiser for the club, which is also supported by the United Way. A spring fundraiser solicits money from area businesses. The club serves youngsters throughout the county.
The restaurants and food providers signed up so far for this year’s event are Charlie's Chicken, the Blue Ribbon Diner, Kiki’s Diner, Geno's Pizza/Taco Pronto, Firstar Bank, Maria's Mexican Restaurant, Mazzio's, Sallisaw Public Schools, Shad's Catfish Hole, Western' Sizzlin' and Wild Horse Mountain BBQ.
Many items will also be up for bidding during silent and live auctions.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10.
