A 43-year-old Muldrow woman was arrested in Ft Smith this week on an outstanding felony warrant.
DeeDee Charmane White, Fort Smith police confirmed, was arrested on a fugitive from justice warrant and two misdemeanor warrants for contempt and failure to appear out of Cherokee County.
Her bail was set at $1,225. White was arrested along with Rachel Ybarra, 28, of Fort Smith after a man told police a woman and three men stole his vehicle last week.
The victim told police that on Sept. 28 his female friend called and asked him to give her a ride from the Capri Motel in Fort Smith. When the victim arrived, he told police, his female friend came out of the motel with three large black men who demanded he get out of the driver’s seat and into the back seat of his own vehicle.
The men then drove the man and his vehicle back to his apartment where they demanded he get out. When he refused, the victim said one of the men waved a pistol at him.
The vehicle was found back at the motel, and the two women were found in the room, but the three men were not present.
Both women were arrested on outstanding warrants and remain jailed.
