U.S. Rep. Markwayne Mullin, a Republican from Oklahoma's Second District, joined a bipartisan congressional delegation that visited troops in Afghanistan over the Memorial Day weekend. Mullin said, "I also met with U.S. military leaders, Afghan National Security Forces officials, and intelligence officers to discuss the ground strategy and long-term planning going forward. It was a real pleasure to be able to visit with our troops stationed in Afghanistan, especially during a time when we pay tribute to our fallen soldiers.
