A Cameron man was killed at 8:01 a.m. Friday in a two-car crash on State Highway 112 about three miles north of Poteau. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported Brian Allan Stroud, 53, of Cameron was pronounced dead at the scene due to massive injuries. The OHP reported Jeremy Don Davis, 20, of Heavener, was driving a 2007 Volkswagen north and Stroud was driving a 1991 Chevrolet south when Stroud went left of center and hit Davis' vehicle head on. Davis refused treatment at the scene for arm and internal injuries. Stroud was pronounced dead by David Grovadahl of LeFlore County EMS. Stroud was pinned for about 20 minutes before he was extricated by the Poteau Fire Department personnel using the Hurst Tool.
