According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol two individuals were injured early this morning after running their truck off the side of the road and crashing into a tree in Muldrow. The accident occurred at approximately 5:10 a.m just off of Cottonwood Road. Authorities stated that the driver appeared to be under the influence at the time of the crash. Charges have not been filed at this time but law enforcement officials stated that they are waiting for toxicology reports to come back and charges could possibly be filed at that time depending on the results. Both the driver and passenger are unnamed at this time and are recovering in a local hospital.
