A collision between a motorcycle and a black Mustang sent the bike rider to Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw Monday. Sallisaw police reported the motorcycle rider was going west on Cherokee Avenue in the outside lane, and the driver of the Mustang was making a left turn onto Cherokee and struck the motorcycle. The bike rider was transported to the Sallisaw hospital for treatment of apparent leg injuries. The crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. Monday.
