A Fort Smith woman was hospitalized Monday after she ran off the highway at about 9:45 a.m. and rolled multiple times, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. Reni Michelle Walker, 34, was transported by Eagle Med Helicopter to St. John's Hospital in Tuslsa, where she was listed in critical condition with massive internal and external injuries. The OHP reported Walker was driving west in a 2004 Ford pickup truck when she departed the road to the right, over corrected, and ran off the road to the left. The OHP report said Walker's truck rolled multiple times, ejecting her from the cab, and came to rest on the passenger's side. The crash occurred three miles east of Wetumka on State Highway 9 in Hughes County. By Sally Maxwell, Senior News Director
