CASC Students Begin Spring Enrollment in November

Enrollment dates and the first day of the Spring 2015 semester at Carl Albert State College in Poteau and Sallisaw have been announced with enrollment beginning in November. The Course Schedule is available at carlalbert.edu under admissions then course schedule.

Pre-enrollment begins on the following dates:

Current CASC sophomores-Nov.3 and 4;

Current CASC freshman and sophomores-Nov. 5, 6 and 7;

Everyone except concurrent students-Nov. 10;

Concurrent students-Nov.13.

Pre-enrollment is open until Dec. 12 and then enrollment resumes in Jan. Current students enrolling online can use the online enrollment system anytime from Nov. 3 to Jan. 20. The first day of spring classes is Jan. 14. The interim class week is scheduled for Jan. 5-9. Students are encouraged to take care of financial aid and pre-enrollment as early as possible. Current CASC students may enroll using VIKECONNECT or with an academic advisor, and should examine the online DEGREE AUDIT available in VIKECONNECT to verify degree completion. Final degree checks are done in the Office of Admissions, and students can confirm graduation status. Students should have a final degree check done before pre-enrollment. New students who apply for admissions must submit credentials for continuing with enrollment. Credentials include test scores, high school and/or other college transcripts. The first stop for new students on the Poteau campus is the Admissions Office located in Hemphill Hall. Students can also go through the admissions and enrollment process at the Sallisaw Campus.
