A 49-year-old Bunch man died after a two-vehicle crash at 5:46 a.m. Monday on Bunch Road, two miles south of 923 Road in Adair County. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Benny Bush was transported to Stilwell City Hospital where he died due to internal trunk and leg injuries. The OHP reported Bush was driving a 1996 Dodge Ram south on Bunch Road and William Wolfe, 52, of El Dorado, Kansas, was driving a 2013 Peterbuilt semi north on the same road when the two vehicles met at a curve. The OHP reported the two were negotiating the curve when the Dodge Ram struck the back tire and wheel of the semi. Bush's truck ran off the road to the right, and Bush was pinned. Stilwell Fire and Rescue freed Bush from the truck. Wolfe was not injured in the collision, the OHP reported. The OHP also reported Wolfe was wearing his seat belt, but Bush was not, and the Dodge Ram's airbags did deploy, but the semi was not equipped with air bags. By Sally Maxwell, Senior News Director
