A Poteau truck driver was listed in critical condition Thursday after his 2006 Peterbilt semi rolled onto its right side. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Larry Crossland, 70, was driving south on the Creek Turnpike in Wagoner County when he said he blacked out and left the road to the left. Crossland told the OHP he woke up, then over corrected to the right, causing a weight transfer in the tank, which caused the truck to roll over onto its right side. Crossland was transported by EMSA to Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa where he was admitted in critical condition with head, internal and external trunk, and arm and leg injuries. The crash occurred at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday. By Sally Maxwell, Senior News Director
