A 29-year-old Gans man was charged with two counts of lewd molestation in Sequoyah County District Court, Sallisaw. Billy Wayne Long is accused of molesting an eight-year-old on two occasions between May 1 and July 4. According to the investigating officer's report filed on Oct. 22 with the charges, Long denied molesting the child. Long's bond is $10,000, and his arraignment is set for Nov. 12.
