James R. Riddle
A 52-year-old Sallisaw man is facing a felony charge for allegedly maintaining a place for keeping and/or selling a controlled substance.
An arrest warrant was filed June 1 against James R. Riddle after police executed a search warrant at Riddle’s residence on Sallisaw’s Wyandotte Street.
According to a police report, on April 29, Sallisaw police searched the residence, where they discovered Warren Collie in one bedroom and Donna Goff in another. Police also discovered several used syringes and plastic baggies with cut-off corners. They also found a plastic baggie containing an off-white crystalline substance, which later field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
While at the residence, the officers learned that Riddle and Teresa Blount had left to allegedly re-stock their drug before police arrived. The information was relayed to another officer, who later made a traffic stop on the vehicle Riddle and Blount were in and reportedly discovered a large amount of meth on the woman.
