Commissioners OK Detention Service Agreements


The Board of County Commissioners for Sequoyah County unanimously approved a pair of detention service agreements at their weekly meeting Monday.

The panel discussed agreements between ROCMD Area Youth Services and the board of county commissioners and between Community Works, LLC, and the County of Sequoyah for juvenile detention services in Cleveland County.

The commissioners also approved the establishment of the Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma Self Insurance GROUP (ACCO-SIG).

In other business, the commissioners also approved a lease renewal with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) for Fiscal Year 2021, which will be financed by the County Road Machinery and Equipment Revolving Fund.
