‘Tools for Schools’ to Benefit Moffett, Webbers Falls



A Fort Smith woodworking supply store is sponsoring a “Tools for Schools” fundraiser benefiting Webbers Falls and Moffett schools, which were severely damaged during spring flooding in the area.

Tickets for the event are available at Mark’s Machinery in Fort Smith; Armstrong Bank locations in Gore, Vian and Muldrow; First National Bank in Roland; Firstar Bank in Roland; Sallisaw Lumber, Sallisaw TrueValue, National Bank of Sallisaw, Gore Hardware, Gore Pharmacy, Beth’s One Stop in Muldrow, Roland Road Hardware Simons Home Center in Vian, Wrightway Auctions in Sallisaw and at the Webbers Falls Municipal Complex. 

Tickets will also be available at the following Sequoyah County football games:

Nov. 1 -- Checotah at Roland

Nov. 8 -- Tulsa Central at Sallisaw

At the event, more than $12,000 in quality woodworking machinery will be given away to 13 winners during a drawing at noon Saturday, Dec. 14 at Mark’s Machinery, 2210 Towson Ave., in Fort Smith. To participate in the drawing, please pay a $10 donation. Participants need not be present to win.
