The Sallisaw Municipal Swimming Pool opens for the season on Memorial Day weekend. City and parks personnel have been working to get the pool ready for opening day on Saturday, May 25 at 1:00 p.m.
City and parks officials have been busy in the past weeks cleaning the pool and getting ready to fill it with water to get chemicals adjusted and water balanced.
The pool will be open from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays; 1 to 7:45 p.m. Saturdays; and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays and holidays; they are closed Mondays.
Residents can enjoy swimming at the pool until Labor Day weekend in September.
Admission is $3 per person; an individual season pass is $30 per person. A family pass is $50 for a family of up to four people, with a $10 per person charge for additional family members.
