On Monday May 13, Sallisaw City Hall will begin new lobby hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. According to officials the change in hours is due to changes in operations dealing with customer transactions and how various software systems are updated during the day. The change in hours will also allow City Hall staff to ensure daily work from the previous day, or the current day, is in order and correct before processing.
City Hall doors will open at 8:30 a.m. each morning and lock at 4:30 p.m. each day.
Payment cutoff times for those making DiamondNet payments in person at City Hall will change to 4:30 p.m. also. DiamondNet will still offer additional services allowing customers to pay online through their website, as well as their payment drop box located in front of City Hall. Customers are encouraged to take advantage of the online payment options for both utilities and DiamondNet.
In order for payments to be posted on the current day, payments must be placed in the drop box by 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. The drop box in front of city hall will still be available 24 hrs. per day.
Phones will be answered from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
