Hospital Open House Is Sept. 7

An open house will be held at the Sallisaw hospital, 
now Northeastern Health System Sequoyah, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 7.

Northeastern Health System Sequoyah Memorial Hospital in Sallisaw will hold an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 7.

Cassie Armstrong, the hospital director of registration and administrative assistant, said, “The open house is a chance for the hospital staff and public to meet our new specialists.”

She said the hospital has several new specialists and services available. They are the following:

Outpatient Services

General Surgery-Hal Robbins, D.O.
Monday and Tuesday-Surgery and Clinic, Northeastern Health System-Sequoyah OP Department.

Every other Monday-Surgery and Clinic, Northeastern Health System-Sequoyah OP Department.

Cardiology Clinic-Carla Hayes, ARNP
Second Tuesday and Thursday of each month, Northeastern Health System-Tahlequah.

ECHO
For the heart on every other Tuesday, Northeastern Health System-Sequoyah OP Department.

Nephrology-Bilal Aziz, M.D. & Imran Tahir, M.D.

Services include well child exams and immunizations, school and sport physicals, and sick visits. All Insurances accepted, including Soonercare. Walk-Ins welcome.

The open house will have a meet-and-greet format and will also introduce the public to a remodeled front lobby, Armstrong said.

“We want positive communication with the town,” Armstrong said. “We want the full support of the community. That’s the only way we’ll be successful.”
