An auction is planned for 5 p.m. Sept. 15 by members of the Old Sallisaw High School Association to raise money to help maintain the park and facility.
The auction will be held in the old cafeteria, now known as the Black Diamond Events Center.
The association is accepting donations for the auction, but those who wish to offer their own items for sale may do so by pledging a mere 10 percent commission to the association. Eual Knapp will be the auctioneer and will be assisted by Jake Knapp.
Items already donated include an 18-foot trailer, a welder, a tiller, a bandsaw, more tools, toolboxes, and two timeshares.
