Carl Albert State College in Poteau and Sallisaw announced this week that two Muldrow student have been awarded scholarships.
Bethsaida Guadalupe Garcia, daughter of Valentin and Patricia Garcia, of Muldrow has been awarded the Buddy Spencer Academic Scholarship. She plans to study math.
Matthew Taylor Emory, son of Thomas Emory and Marlene Emory, also of Muldrow, has been awarded a Sallisaw Committee for Excellence scholarship. He plans to study nursing.
