The Friends of Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library in Sallisaw will hold a fundraiser at Mazzio’s Pizza in Sallisaw on Aug. 4.
The fundraiser will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Aug. 4. Everyone is encouraged to attend. When ordering, customers must remind Mazzio’s they are there for the library. Mazzio’s then donates 15 percent of their total bill to the Friends of the Library.
This fundraiser is held monthly and everyone is invited to attend to help their local library buy books and offer free programs.
The Friends of the Library will meet at 1 p.m. Aug. 2 at the library. Anyone interested is invited to attend to find out more about the group and join.
Also in August at the library, Story Time with Ms. Sharon will be held at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 16, 23 and 30.
A photography workshop will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 6.
The Teen Science Workshop will be held at 4 p.m. Aug. 18 and at 4 p.m. on Aug. 25.
Senior Citizen Immunization Awareness will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 19.
