The City of Sallisaw is getting ready to launch CivicReady, a municipal mass notification that will allow the city to notify residents of many different types of events happening in the community.
The notifications will range from emergency alerts, event announcements and reminders of utility billing due dates. The notifications will be sent using email and test messages.
Once the system is launched, citizens will be able to sign up for these notifications through the city’s website or by visiting a customer service representative at City Hall.
