Marble City is gearing up for its annual Fall Festival, which will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, downtown.
The fun will start at 7 a.m. with Breakfast at the Bank, with yard sales, arts and crafts and flea markets beginning at 8 a.m.
Gospel music will begin at 10 a.m., as well as a Lucas Wildcat Native Arts demonstration.
There will also be a horseshoe tournament at the event. Registration will be held through the morning until 10:45 a.m. and the tournament will begin at 11 a.m.
There will be games for kids and face-painting from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A bingo fundraiser will start at noon at City Hall. A bicycle race is set for 1 p.m. and a treasure hunt for $100 begins at 2 p.m.
Train rides will be available all day and at 4 p.m., there will be a barbecue meal sponsored by Cherokee Casino.
Food will be provided by the Sweet Shop (to be held at the bank), and there will be Indian tacos for sale at Vision of Christ. Mexican dinners by Josie and Pam and a Flaming Grill food truck will also be available throughout the day.
Scheduled performers include Tuya and Lucas at 11 a.m., Flute Girls at noon, Buddy Stacy at 1 p.m., Bob Bearpaw at 2 p.m., JJ Baldwin at 3 p.m. and Whiskey Revolver from 4-7 p.m. A street dance at the Whiskey Revolver show will cap off the day’s events.
There is no charge for booth setup, so come early to get a good spot!
