State Rep. John Bennett welcomed Clint Stidd, from the Sallisaw VFW, to the state Capitol on Veterans Appreciation Day. The House and Senate held a joint session March 27 to recognize the men and women who have served in the military.
“It was such an honor to be able to recognize Mr. Stidd and so many of our veterans at the state Capitol during Veterans Appreciation Day,” said Bennett, a Marine. “Having served in our nation’s armed forces, it’s a particular joy for me to be able to welcome my brothers and sisters in arms. I’m grateful for Mr. Stidd’s service and sacrifice on behalf of our nation’s freedom.”
