Crow's Case Continued to June 25

The case of Morgan Nicole Crow, 23, of Muldrow was continued to June 25 on Judge Larry Langley's disposition docket to allow Crow to obtain an attorney, according to court records. Crow is charged with child endangerment, permitting abuse, in Sequoyah County District Court, Sallisaw. She is accused of allowing her boyfriend to allegedly scald her 7-month-old daughter. The charge against her was filed April 8, shortly after Crow took the child belatedly to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith for the burns. The child was taken on to a Little Rock hospital, and the boyfriend, Alexander Turner, 26, of Fort Smith is charged with child abuse in district court. Crow entered a not guilty plea to the change on April 23, and on May 23 she submitted an application for a court-appointed attorney. Alexander also pleaded not guilty, and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 19 in district court. Stay tuned to KXMX for the latest news, or visit www.kxmx.com.
