The Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce is busy making plans for the 2021 Diamond Daze Festival, set for April 30-May 1 downtown, according to Chamber of Commerce Director Marty Green.
This year’s event will include a talent show and a barbecue contest sponsored by Main Street Sallisaw. Green said there will also be arts and crafts, food vendors, a car show, music, a cornhole tournament and more.
Diamond Daze 2021 will wrap up with a concert Saturday by the “Ultimate Aldean,” Greg West, a country singer who will take the stage at 9 p.m. The winner of the Diamond Daze talent show will also perform at Saturday night’s concert.
Also on hand at the event will be a Dodge Ram monster truck, Green said. There will also be an entire block dedicated to inflatables and other activities just for children.
