The number of people in Oklahoma with active cases of COVID-19 continues to decline, state health officials reported Saturday.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported 12,929 active cases of the disease on Saturday. This is 407 fewer than on Friday with the weekly and monthly numbers continuing to decline as well.
The state's 59 new COVID-19 deaths raised the state's pandemic death toll to 4.379.
Johns Hopkins University researchers said the state's average number of daily new cases over the past two weeks has fallen to 773, a 48.8% decrease.
State health officials noted that more than one million doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered in Oklahoma.
