The Board of County Commissioners for Sequoyah County opened a pair of bids for the Vian Fire Department’s purchase of a truck at their weekly meeting Monday.
The commissioners then gave Vian Fire Chief Keith Boshears the bids, which he planned to present at Monday night’s Vian City Council meeting.
In other business, the commissioners:
*Approved the final bid and signed a deed for the March 1 Commissioners’ Sale for the Sequoyah County Treasurer’s Office
*Approved a request by the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office to surplus a South Bend stove
*Approved a standard rental service agreement between Cintas and Sequoyah County District 2
*Approved the transfer of funds from the Excise Board’s maintenance and operations account to the board’s travel account
*Discussed proposals regarding the 2022 CIRB plan.
