Santa to Visit Muldrow Library

The Muldrow Public Library is kicking off the city’s Christmas holiday season at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, when Santa Claus arrives to bring free books and treats for kids.

The event will also feature Christmas carols sung by Muldrow’s Gabrielle Gore, 16.

Santa will arrive for the festivities at 6 p.m. and Gore will begin her performance at 7 p.m., followed by the library storyteller’s reading of the classic Christmas book “The Night Before Christmas,” written in 1837 by Clement Clark Moore. The festivities will end by 8 p.m.

For more information, call (918) 427-6703. The Muldrow Public Library, 711 W. Shawntel Smith Blvd., is a branch of the Eastern Oklahoma District Library Association.
